Lyrvid Siberians

Lyrvid is a small kennel set in 2.5 acres of the Fenlands. We specialise in the Siberian Husky, acquiring our first dog Lizard in 2020 and although we got off to a rough start due to a little known thing called “COVID-19! We regularly show our dogs for conformation (how close to the breed standard are they) and also engage in teaching them obedience. We also plan to work our dogs in harness during the colder months.

Lyrvid is run by Lei Ferretti, who has always been passionate about dogs (specifically the Siberian Husky of course!).

I am certified by AMTRA for Canine First Aid (Level 3)

I believe Siberian Huskies should not only look stunning, but be able to perform their original purpose of pulling light loads, at moderate speeds, over great distances.

And although labelled a challenging breed to own, they are clever dogs who are willing to work and there is no reason they cannot be taught general obedience. In fact, its even more of a reason to try! Not only a fantastic way to build a bond with your fluffy buddy working their minds is one of the best ways to tire them out. I can guarantee you wont be able to out exercise a husky. But a tired husky is a happy one, and your furniture will thank you for it.

We occasionally have litters in order to achieve our goals with future generations, with puppies available to both show and pet homes. Our litters are carefully planned months to years in advance and are raised in our family home following the best methods for well rounded confident pups. If you are interested in joining the waitlist please do get in touch - finding the best homes for them is our top priority.

“The ethical breeder is a purist who does not expect his animals to earn their keep through stud fees and puppy sales. The ethical breeder lives for his dogs and not off his dogs.”
